Bug-A-Salt has a special of 6 guns for 10% off and free shipping. So a family of six or a family of 3 can shoot flies dual handed in the middle of winter. Guess this is a warm climate appeal as I haven't seen a fly in months!

I bought a couple of those when they first came out a couple years ago. Still have one in the box never used.

I think I've shot a few hundred "rounds" and it seems that the muzzle velocity has dropped a bit from new.

I might have to set up the chronograph and compare the muzzle velocities of old one to the new unused one.

This is the honest truth - after I bought mine I only saw one fly this summer and yes the Salt-a-bug made it disappear in an flash. Guess it wasn't a good year for flies in IL this summer.

@RRP -  you definitely have a creative approach-were I to be the giver then, prior to such event I would make sure all my last will and testament papers were in perfect order.  For me this fits into the appliance category of self-inflicted wounds and likely with more repercussions.  But to those who can buy, give and survive-my sincerest respect.  =)
