Thawed too much, can I freeze again?

Thawed out too many ribs for tonight. Am I okay putting them back in the freezer again?
Just bought an Egg?  Here is what you get to look forward to now:

Plate Setter, FlameBoss 200, Spider, PSWOO-CI, Additional Rig Shelf for dome cooking, Thermapen, iGrill2, Cast Iron, Blackstone, Cooking Accessories for the Blackstone, Cover for the Egg and the Blackstone, shopping for Rub like a fine wine or IPA, and a new fascination with lump and what brand is the best-all to be debated every Friday Night.  Next desires-Joetisceriie, Adjustable Rig, Grillmates, table and more eggs

  • You can freeze and refreeze forever at safe temps. Issue is quality and damge from freezing

if you thaw at room temp, then multiple freeze/thaws could also be dangerous

the issue with refreezing though is water loss thru cell damage. Quality, not safety

    Thanks.

Just wanted to be sure.  With it just being ribs, I doubt I will notice the difference.

Why not just go ahead and cook them, let cool, vacuum seal or pack tight in zip lock  to freeze to have ready for another time.  I've done that before.

Thought about it, but I would prefer to have more for fresh eats.

You're using the term fresh pretty loosely.
