Mad Max Turkey

My try at the legendary Mad Max turkey for "friendsgiving" this past weekend

  • The turkey was about 14 pounds.  I cook it for about 4 hours with a dome temp around 300. 

    I did do the gravy, everyone seemed to like it. Next time I would let the wine cook off more or use stock because it had too much of an alcohol taste for me
