My try at the legendary Mad Max turkey for "friendsgiving" this past weekend
After about an hour

about 2 an half hours in

How many lbs was the bird? What temp and how long?
Also, did you try the gravy recipe?

The turkey was about 14 pounds. I cook it for about 4 hours with a dome temp around 300.
I did do the gravy, everyone seemed to like it. Next time I would let the wine cook off more or use stock because it had too much of an alcohol taste for me
