    Just wondering, why is a basket desirable - what do the sides help with?  It seems like all they'd do is add to the clean up.

    I'm guilty of overthinking things, but not so with my meatloaf tray.  A couple years back I grabbed the nearest piece of scrap that was about the size of a meatloaf.  Still seems to work pretty good after a good 75 loaves of meat.
