Smells Like Alcohol

Hey fellow BGEggers,

I just removed my gasket like recommended by the great people at BGE headquarters using isopropyl alcohol and now my egg has a distinct alcohol smell.  It's been less than 30 minutes but I'm worried that the smell will sink in.  I know that you are under no circumstances to use lighter fluid in the egg as it causes a smell that will essentially ruin the egg. 

Please tell me I didn't unwittingly cause irreparable damage.

I light my egg with alcohol. Relax

Light it, keep it at 400ish for an hour or two and you'll be alright.  I use to light my egg with rubbing alcohol. No issues

No extra charge for the disinfecting. Best to wait more than 30 minutes before panicking, I think. Eggs are REALLY hard to ruin!
