Jerk tomahawk pork chops
In addition to my normal work week chicken breasts I picked up some pork cut (I'm no butcher) which looked like I could cut my own nice thick pork chops. Color me in. Did these chops indirect @ 350 with some Oakridge BBQ's new jerk seasoning. I tried putting them on the non-indirect when they were getting close to put some sear on the outside but not sure I acheived peak result. Also wrapped an onion in foil with a little butter and everglades seasoning.
What I will say is sear be damned, these chops were freaking outstanding. Highly recommend the jerk seasoning for anyone who loves jerk but not too hot. It's got just the right amount for me, although full disclosure I used some walkerswood hot and spicy on one of the chicken breasts and that was awesome too. Sorry about the fork, try to ignore it, I just thought the meat looked too damn good to not get a pic.
