Strips tonight 4th cook

Cooked up a strip tonight after the wife's salmon. Steak came out great. How long do you wait until you put your plate setter back in the egg? I don't want the ceramic to crack by placing them in to early but as the night cools I want to keep the moisture off as well.Thank you

I've put the platesetter in the egg when the platesetter is outside temp and the egg is 450-500. No problems yet!
