Pork Belly Burnt Ends Copy Cat

After seeing @Wanasmoke 's post with the pork belly burnt ends and butt together I had to give it a try.  Pork belly from Costco.  Just pulled the pork belly about 180, the little butts still have a ways to go for "buttah".

Finish line pics coming, hopefully as good as the Cubs!!!  First time doing pork belly, drooling over the other pics here.  Had to try it.

First tray has a small amount of BBQ sauce on them and the second tray just has extra rub before they went on.  I made one big mistake, I left the drip pan in when I put these back in and cranked up the heat, they have some of that burnt taste especially the ones without sauce.  They are tasty, but definitely won't do that again

  • Glad you tried it!  I may have to bust that one out again soon.  Kids liked them better than the pulled pork!
