The only place I've ever seen it is at Wegman's. Don't recall whether it's the good Italian stuff or the inferior domestic product. I've never tried either, but I've read that the US version just ain't the same.
PS: You might try Whole Foods.I hate it when I go to the kitchen for food and all I find are ingredients!

Seeing it is made from domestic Italian water buffalo milk I bet your best best is some high end speciality source and it will cost you accordingly.Re-gasketing the USA one yard at a time

Its on sale right now at whole foods, not sure if domestic or import . . but I just used it for my pizza cook on Sat and it worked well. Tub normally $10 . . got it for $7 . . same price as fresh cows milk motz. Might be worth calling your local WF.Columbus, OH

Just found the Wegman's listing. It is the D.O.P. product from Italy. $9 per 7 oz, http://www.wegmans.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?langId=-1&storeId=10052&catalogId=10002&productId=400900
'Course, Wegman's is far from nationwide. I only go when I'm at Mom's... 400+ miles away!I hate it when I go to the kitchen for food and all I find are ingredients!

If you ever get up to Worcester, there is a Wegman's in Northborough, and another in Chestnut Hill outside of Boston. My son and daughter in law live in Boston so we stop on the way home. Just don't forget to bring a cooler.Carolina Q said:Just found the Wegman's listing. Thank you! I knew about that store, though I've never been there. I like Wegman's, but not enough to drive two hours round trip. Now if they'd open one in Springfield...CTMike said:

I look on their website from time to time to see if any are coming to CT, but I'm not holding my breath. If they do, with my luck, it'll probably be in Greenwich, which is farther away than Worcestah!
