Semi-OT, a knife review

I came across a recent knife review. It was worth reading because it discussed blade steel quality in some detail. Mentioned some specific Rockwell numbers, and what sort of performance was to be expected with long use and sharpening. Clue, lower numbers probably mean the blade will become worse after repeated sharpening. Other important stuff, like how many pounds of pressure are needed for cutting the same thing. Decent knife, 10 pounds. Base level blade, 30 pounds and up. It was worthwhile, and I think anyone thinking about making new purchases/upgrades might benefit.
