I bought a medium egg that is missing some parts. Anyone have one that broke or have spare parts laying around? As far as I can tell I am missing the cast iron top, and the band for the lid and base. I pick up thursday and will have a better idea what i am missing. Thanks everyone

You should be able to purchase a replacement daisy wheel from any dealer. They might also be able to order a replacement band set for you as well. With you missing those two pieces I would guess you are probably missing all of the internal ceramics, so unless it was next to free you might not have gotten as good a deal as you think. Maybe someone else will chime in and let you know what to expect to pay for those parts.Medium BGE , iGrill2

Contrats on getting a Medium. I have one and it works great.
In case you don't have it, here is a link to the instructions on how to assemble the band for a Medium or Small.

I think that all the ceramics come in the main box. Could be wrong.. That's what I got, and a nest. The egg is new in the box. Box 2 and 3 of 4 are missing. Which are the plate setter in one box and band, daisy wheel and temp gauge in the other.

Yeah, according to the diagram in the instructions, the second box has the grid, gauge, fire grate, Dual Function Metal Top (DFMT/Daisy Wheel) and the band components. I'd go to a nearby dealer and discuss the options for these missing components. The OEM band components would be a must, but the others can be aftermarket. Maybe you can get a cast iron grid, better gauge, Kick Ash Basket (KAB), and a nice chimney top. And, although you'll need one, the plate-setter is technically and accessory. There's options for that too.
See, this is an opportunity to get some cool stuff!L, M - Kansas City -

Yep I have a large already but for the price I couldn't pass it up. I figured the spring band was my biggest issue.
