Are there any teams on this forum competing on KCBS professional BBQ Circuit and using the BGE?

This has been my first year competing on the KCBS pro circuit. I used my large green egg and a 22 inch weber WSM to cook the meat in the competitions (sometimes I need to add in my 18 inch WSM). We did alright for the first season and even got a 3d place call in chicken. However, when entering into the peoples choice categories my egg and WSMs are completely maxed out so I am in the market for something a little bigger and it would be better to manage as little fires as possible.
I am debating between getting 2 xlarge BGEs, or a backwoods smoker, or a reverse flow big smoker.
I am really comfortable smoking and grilling on the BGE. I also like the fact that I can get the egg to temp and it will stay there all night. Plus I can amp the temp up for setting the sauce and other things. So I am leaning really hard toward the 2 XLarge BGEs. This will cost me about $3000. Pls I would like to be loyal to a brand I like.
The majority of the teams are using the backwoods smoker for the comps. this one costs about $4-5K depending on options and from what I know it will only get to about 300 degrees. However this is almost set and forget and a lot of teams are winning with it.
The reverse flow smoker will hold all of the meat and then some. Plus it seems to be traditional BBQ however, you have to add a log ever 30-45 minutes so that means not much sleep. But they look really cool.
So my big question and the advice I am trying to seek is: Are there any teams solely competing with the BGEs (I have not seen any in my region this year) and if so would you recommend me purchasing the 2 xlarge BGEs?

I can't answer your question directly. But...
I was on the KCBS website this afternoon looking at some of the competition bbq videos and I saw plenty of BGEs. Some of the tents had 5 or 6 Eggs setup.Marshall in Beautiful Fruit Cove, FL.

How many comps are you planning to do every year? Is the 5k smoker worth the investment? Hard to say what works better. A reverse flow smoker is going to give you a completely different smoke profile and texture of meat than an egg. Is it worth the extra work, money, and time to tend a smoker every few hours for the more traditional smoke in competitions? If the eggs are going to be used frequently and not only for a few competitions a year I'd say egg.
