You can search recipes by a variety of factors, such as main ingredient or time. I've tried a few of the recipes and have enjoyed them. While the collection is by no means exhaustive, I've seen It grow over the last several months, so I expect this trend to continue. Many of the recipes are also very simple.

Just thought I'd flag for those who were not aware of this free app. Wouldn't be surprised if the creator was in our midst.

I have it on my phone but have not opened it for a long time now.   I come here for everything. It is probably me, but every time I have tried to follow a recipe from an actual book or app, the times they suggest never seem to be close to accurate, so now I have come to the conclusion of following them for the ingredients, but to never trust their times.  (this is not exclusive to this app.)  I did ribs and followed the recipe in Smokin like a pro, and they only had me cooking the ribs for a total of 4 hours at 275.......they were not done at all, and everyone here, myself as well now, tag ribs more like 5 hours...

Just bought an Egg?  Here is what you get to look forward to now:

Plate Setter, FlameBoss 200, Spider, PSWOO-CI, Additional Rig Shelf for dome cooking, Thermapen, iGrill2, Cast Iron, Blackstone, Cooking Accessories for the Blackstone, Cover for the Egg and the Blackstone, shopping for Rub like a fine wine or IPA, and a new fascination with lump and what brand is the best-all to be debated every Friday Night.  Next desires-Joetisceriie, Adjustable Rig, Grillmates, table and more eggs

Actual cook times will vary because different grills work in different ways - hot spots, convective currents, unreliable thermometers, etc.

If I hang baby backs in my WSM they generally take 4-5 hours. If I cook them in my KBQ they are generally done in three hours.

Also, each piece of meat is different. Perhaps not so different when it comes to smaller cuts but when it comes to butts and briskets some will take longer, some will be ready sooner.

Must be Craig's recipes, as I can see minuscule partial snippets of his watermark on the food photos.

I couldn't check it. The App Store is taking for ever and a day to bring it up.

If I remember correctly, they reached out and asked if they could share them. Nothing other than that.

  • @Big_Green_Craig: Nice. Just curious as to how they are amassing their recipes. Been meaning to try the artisan bread. Looks good!

I see this is kind of an old topic. I have the app but when I click on an accessory or anything it takes forever and doesn't do anything. Is the app even operational now?
