Induction Burner

I have a GE electric cooktop. I hate it. It temperature cycles to much for good sauté or sauce making.
Wife said "Hey, try an induction burner" .... its been on my list for a while, but never mentioned it to her.
Anyone have any recommended induction burners?

I can't help with a recommendation for a cooktop unit, but I do have a portable induction burner I use mostly outside. I give a wholehearted thumbs up to induction. I really like how you set the temp you want and it holds it.

I have two portable eyes. The cheap one is the one I really like. NuWave

A Neighbor who is a chef that designs meals for restaurants has several of the NuWave units at his house. He has an induction cooktop with 5 "burners" but I am not sure of the manufacturer. Great devices!

I initially wanted to swap in a gas cooktop, but was not looking forward to replumbing gas. If induction works even reasonably well then I will go that route.Maybe your purpose in life is only to serve as an example for others? - LPL

I have a Bosch induction cooktop and love it. Wanted gas but didn't want to replumb the kitchen and add a propane tank. I think induction was the better choice.Wear maroon, live maroon, bleed maroon.
