Office closed early yesterday so I start to mow 1.5 acres (hopefully for the last time this year) with a push mower and thought some bbq would be a nice reward.
Cooking at 230 right now and have about an hour to go.

Ouch but a great self-reward. Based on the 187*F pig temp, I would guess you could have a few more hours to consume adult beverages. I have seen the second stall in the high 180's take a good 2-4 hours to punch thru to the finish-line. But that's not a bad thing

1 1/2 acres with a push mower! How old are you - that would put me underground.
good luck with your cook.

If I had that many acres, there is no way in heck I would not have a macDaddy sit down mower with it's own ice chest, sound system, satellite TV, and anything else I could get on there!Just bought an Egg? Here is what you get to look forward to now:

Glutton for punishment..
Cook lookin good.. I also too think at 187, unless you kick the temp up to hit the mid 190's and right to 200, you got a little time to drink a few more of those marzens.-FATC1TY

Nice looking pulled pork. I like that you scored the pork before adding the rub. I never thought about it, but scoring should increase the surface area for some nice bark.
Any road will take you there if you don't know where you're going.
