OT: 2 Little Doves

Once upon a time, 2 little doves fell in love and decided it was time to build a nest. They found a beautiful little spot on top of a little pergola covered in wysteria that stayed warm in the evening thanks to a green ceramic oval underneath. 

Then the owner came out one morning and found the two little doves $hitting all over his green ceramic oval, so he went inside and grabbed a 22....

And we are having dove poppers tonight!!

How did you cook them? I find if you go over medium rare they taste like liver.

Tomorrow now gents. My business partner came over in a panic tonight so we just had to do a cram session. ive got shrimp Diablo to throw on as well so they will make a nice lil app.

I cut my jalapeños in half and boil them for a few minutes and bake my bacon half way. Then put cream cheese and the dove in and wrap in the bacon. That way the dove doesn't get overlooked on the egg (usually 375 raised direct.)

I've never done them kebab style like that. Do you cook your bacon ahead of time or does the bacon cover them enough not to overcook?
