Hello guys My lovely wife bought me a LG BGE (she got a ridiculous price on a return from Samsclub. $275) a few weeks back and I wanted a few items. I have seen a few websites mentioned on here. Who do you like for accessories? I want a plate setter but I don't want to but a BGE one for 150 also I would like to get one of the caps to put out the coals. Thanks guys.

    The Ceramic Grill Store is good place to start. They have several options to get you indirect

    When you say "one of the caps to put out the coals", do you mean yours didn't include the green ceramic cap?

    No, mine was a return and it did not have the ceramic cap also the cast iron cap has had the handle broken off. Looks like it was dropped. I can't really complain considering what we paid for it

    FWIW, I have the DFMT on mine, and never take it off.  Have no issues with fire dying either.  And couple that with a fried gasket in need of replacing (too lazy) but no functional issues at all, which is probably why I haven't done it yet.  But the top doesn't seem to adversely affect me either
