Broke open my first bag of El Diablo. HUGE CHUNKS, TREES EVEN!!!
Had to break most of what I pulled out off. 6 pieces to fill XL after I broke it up. Heated up quick, not sparky, and clean burning very quickly. Grilled fajitas on it over CI grids. No strong taste. Started fire to right side so I had a holding place.

Costco. 14.00 for 40lb bag.
I'll probably continue to use it for grilling and pizza, but I'll stick to Rockwood for low and slow stuff.
I'm taking back two out of the three bags of Vision mesquite I bought to Sam's as the last bag I used looks like it went through a shredder. They all came off the same pallet. I think it was a handling issue by shipper or Sam's as the first bag I ever got was pretty good.Bill Denver, CO

Nice if you enjoy large chunks!! I prefer smaller chunks however. I feel like it has more of a chance to spread to hit my wood chunks.

They are definitely too big, I had to break them up. It's harder to put crumbs back together though. Just had a really disappointing bag of Vision. Like the heat of the mesquite for grilling and pizza.Bill Denver, CO

looks like it's sized like my royal oak. price is good though. well, once you pay for a costco membership. and the 40 mile drive to/from there. I'll stick with ro.
I hate it when I go to the kitchen for food and all I find are ingredients!

I like RO as well, I've just never seen it near this big in the dozen or so bags I've used, not that it matters, it really was too big.
I wouldn't get a Costco or Sam's membership for buying just lump either, don't blame you. The 2.99 a lb prime briskets ease the pain though along with all the other stuff we get there.Bill Denver, CO
