RITC low ball lids
RRP
Posts: 26,474
We've had our RITC low balls for a couple months now and they get daily use. The only thing that is bugging me is the lids are so friggen tight and a PITA to get off! OTOH the lids on our YETIs loosened up long before this, yet they seal excellently. Do RITC gaskets evidentually relax like YETIs?

My problem with the RTIC low balls is that they don't fit in any of my vehicles cup holders.

Try the yeti lids on the rtic lowballs. The fit is snug, but not as tight.#1 LBGE December 2012 • #2 SBGE February 2013 • #3 Mini May 2013A happy BGE family in Houston, TX.

I have but even the RCH smaller YETI is still tight so me thinks the RITC low ball is actually smaller and therefore tighter and always will be.caliking said:Try the yeti lids on the rtic lowballs. The fit is snug, but not as tight.Re-gasketing the USA one yard at a time -

This tightness has been an issue in daily life before. Hmmm....you want perhaps a lubricant, but it needs to be edible, food safe. I can't remember exactly what product it is, but I know it helps with friction. Kentucky something....argh! I can't remember the product!
