Good Turbo Butt Rub?

Planning on rolling with a turbo-butt on Saturday. Believe that Bad Byron's is a low (no?) sugar rub? Just looking for some rubs where I don't have to worry about scorching due to sugar content of the rub.

Would like to know as well. Was going to go turbo today. But I already had on my sugary rub. So it's going at 275.

I've used Bad Burons on turbo, it will be fine.

Though it has some sugar I have great turbo results using Dizzy Pig Dizzy Dust Coarse Grind. I still smear the surface first with some French's yellow mustard though so perhaps the vinegar in the mustard mellows the sugar, but over all the mix produces great tasting bark with no burnt bark taste.Re-gasketing the USA one yard at a time

BBBB is great for turbo. You can use mustard as a binder for the rub if you like but I prefer to just sprinkle the meat with water then apply rub. I think the bark is better using water as the binder. Main thing is it's BBQ and whatever you like is permitted and there's no rules.-----------------------------------------analyze adapt overcome2008 -Large BGE. 2013- Small BGE and 2015 - Mini. I've used dizzy pig as well as some lanes. Both yielded great results.1 LBGE. Winder, GA

Rubbing the butt with a binder (olive oil, mustard) and perhaps misting the meat during the cook will help temper the heat.
