Yeti Hopper at Costco

fyi- Received a report that the Yeti Hopper 20 was for sale at Louisville Costco for $270. (reg price ~$300).
Don't know if this was a 3rd party re-sale or Yeti is expanding it's sales channels. would appear to be 3rd party unless others have seen this nationally?

I borrowed a 30 recently.  it worked well but was a PITA to get stuff into and out of bc of the zipper design.

I got a 20 for Christmas and I am not overly impressed.  I put 10 cold beers in it last Friday, nearly filled it with ice, and approximately 15 hours later without opening it at all, the ice was melted.

@MotownVol did you chill the cooler ahead of time? I was happy with the performance of the 30, but I had it pre-chilled

I bought the Yeti Hopper 30 a year or so ago.  Not impressed.  Way too much $$ for how it performs.  Took it to the beach, ice was water not too long into the day.  Find a different brand soft side cooler for way less money, trust me.  I even called YETI to complain about it.

I took mine fishing for a week and only used 15lbs of ice the entire time after I pre chilled it.
  • The YETI Ice is a must have if your have a hopper.  Put in bottom frozen and still use wet ice.  When wet ice melts it refreezes to ice pack.  Have gone 3+ days without adding ice and I was in and out of it a lot.
