Meatless...no wait...meatloaf Monday!

Decided to heck with meatless Monday and put on a meatloaf, because, hey, I like meatloaf...especially grilled meatloaf. Cooked to internal temp of 155 and tossed on some cherry for smoke. I like to use cherry for meatloaf. Served it with peas in a cloud because that is the way I used to like them when I was a kid. So, as it turns out, it makes peas taste better now as well. I think I probably used more butter in the potatoes and peas than my granny used to.

Actually, the glaze is a mixture of a small can of tomato paste, some A1 sauce, honey, brown sugar and red pepper flakes, put on toward the end so it doesn't burn.
As for cook time, I did not really pay attention to what time I put it on, but I am guessing it was around an hour or a bit more at 350 indirect.

Oh well in that case, do you mind sharing the glaze recipe?

Ive yet to smoke a meatloaf but have been wanting to try so just trying to get a feel for how long, sometimes I overshoot dinner when cooks take longer than expected, hangry crowd is never good.

That is the glaze recipe. Did not measure anything, just put it all in a bowl and mixed it up. Could have put a bit more honey in it I suppose, as it was a bit thick.
Meatloaf is one of my favorites to grill.

That looks delicious. Comfort food at its finest. The only thing I'd chance is corn with the mashed potatoes.

Looks great!  I don't know why meatloaf strikes me as sort of a pain.  I don't really think it's any worse than some other things I cook, but every time I think I'll cook another meatloaf I back out.  I've cooked several in the BGE and they were wonderful!  Yours looks great!

I actually enjoy the prep part, slicing, dicing, mixing it all together, shaping the loaf, trying different combinations of ingredients and binders...fun.
Try crushed Ruffles chips instead of bread crumbs sometimes. I have also used crushed pork rinds instead of bread crumbs when trying to eat lower carb.
