Ribs on the UDS
My daughter wanted to have ribs yesterday, so I was more than happy to oblige. Fired up my ugly drum, got it to settle in, with temps ranging 235-255 for the cook.
Ribs were rubbed down with:
salt
pepper
garlic
turbinado sugar
ghost pepper from dizzy pig (Daughter loves the stuff)
Cooked 2-1-1, as they were a small rack of ribs.
Glazed with blues hog original cut with a little apple cider vinegar and a splash of the ghost pepper rub.
All and all I love cooking on my UDS, great smoke flavor, and set it and forget it ease-of-use as long as it's not cold and windy.
Few pics of the cook forgot to get one of plated food, wife and daughter were hungry.

Great cook right there and even more impressive is the liking of the the ghost peppers-now that is a high achievement.Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood. # 38 for the win. Life is too short for light/lite beer! Seems I'm livin in a transitional period.
