I wanted to share a couple of shots from the foodshow I just did. We had a ton of fun and brought the BGE into the limelight a little bit. The whole theme of the show was menu concepts. Well I knew I wanted to do something off the egg and I had to incorporate our dairy product. So I made a buttermilk version of an Alabama White Sauce. I paired it with a wedge salad and pulled pork and some applewood smoked bacon. Here are some shots of the booth and the salad. I called it Spicy Buttermilk Ranch as they have no idea what white sauce is. I called the salad Alabama Wedge Salad in honor of its roots. Overall it was a pretty good hit.
