First 3-dish cook

After a few break-in cooks, and a chicken I wanted to grow a bit. Pretty simple but multi-course felt good and kept the kitchen cool on a hot night. Started with onions a few hours ahead and finished with kielbasa on a bed of onions, summer squash, and deconstructed guacamole with grilled avocado.

Looks wonderful! Never had a grilled avocado before. Will have to try it.

Here's one for you... Try burnt tomatoes on a cast iron skillet some time. One of my favorite sides. Even wintertime grocery store plum tomatoes taste good when cooked this way! Would be great on the egg, though I usually do them on my stove. Olive oil, salt, peppercorns, fresh oregano... delicious!!!

I hate it when I go to the kitchen for food and all I find are ingredients!
