    I was thinking that same thing.  There's a dealer around here with one having a tough time selling it and that's with a warranty.

    Well to be fair, we're a pretty specified group who knows the warranty ins and outs better than most, and I'd assume that prices in LA are probably higher than in most of the rest of the country.

    I'm also sure that to the right person, the fact that this used to be Bobby Flay's will more than make up for the lack of warranty.  I mean, if Guy Fieri's Times Square trainwreck hasn't gone under yet, clearly there is a premium added for being on Food Network, maybe especially because Bobby is the last man standing there who can actually cook.

    I would think the production company/Flay got all that stuff for free from the manufacturers?  Free advertising on a national show.  If so, that's a pretty crappy move selling it for a profit.  Hopefully they would donate the money to a food bank or something.

    You're absolutely right that someone will happily pay for that egg.......bragging rights to say it was from the show.  
    My cousin has a pig roast every year using a La Caja China and  I've had the opportunity to help out - really cool device.

    Just a shame to have TWO XXL eggs in storage collecting dust...If my egg ever gets that much dust on it from lack of use, it ought to be taken by egg protective services and placed into a loving home.....
