    Growing up as a kid, my mom would make country ribs this way.  We didn't have the money for a smoker, nor did mom want to take the time on the weekends to cook these all day.  Often times we'd come home from school/work and have this exact recipe (sauce of choice).  

    I must say the method is good, and the ribs turn out really well.  On a BBQ forum, I know this is blasphemy, but for a single mom with no time - it definable works!
