Power's Out!! -- Bacon and Eggs

A huge tree fall took out TWO power poles last night. No knowing when power will come back on, I decided to try something new. That's my great grandmother's cast iron skillet. I know it's simple, but it turned out incredible.

Its on and off again. 

Really easy cook. We have a gas stove I just like doing regular stuff on the BGE to prove I can and to keep the heat outside.

Nice! We went to Pablanos to eat , half of Friendly had power. Thankfully Pablanos had plwer.

I love that you're using your grandma's skillet!  :-)  Dad bought me a small one when I first moved out, and I picked up my large for a few dollars at an antique store a couple years later.  My most used pans!

And breakfast looks wonderful!  I wish my husband would fix ME a breakfast like that!

Absolutely love it. It lives in the BGE on top of the spider. If it ever dies, or the PS goes, I'll consider an AR recommended to me by @johnmitchell
