FoGo-a-bout-it, says it comes from Latin America, my BGE will only burn charcoal made, manufactured, packaged and burned in the good ole USA.

Of course, I'll cook the pork or beef where ever it was living (up until I et it)

You have to pick your battles...

I know, I know, it ALL comes from Latin America...

The egg sure comes from Mexico...

I'm tempted to try but am a fan of Publix brand lump that I can buy for $6 for 8ish lbs, not telling where it's produced but I can sure choose the bags that have good size chunks. Also mail order lump concerns me with no telling how they package, i know firecraft does a good job with RW 3 packs

I often remember a fellow guitar player that told me that Fenders made in Mexico are made by Mexicans living in Mexico...but, Fenders that are made in America are made by Mexicans living in the USA. A matter of symantecs...:)

My local Ace ordered Rockwood (@stlcharcoal) for me yesterday. They found it in their system without a problem. Pricey, probably because they have to process and move it, but I want to try a bag.

some day, someone will produce a cheap charcoal that lights fast and butns hot and is dense and magically burns forever and has perfectly carbonized absolutely uniform pieces and no dust and no rocks

    …and no ash ;)

That's a good one and I don't doubt it, hard working people compared to most Americans.

Not cheap and dirty - just a wise man.
