Another Tri-Tip

Inspired by @NERVOUS I did a tri-tip yesterday.  Snider's rub, indirect @ 300F (egg wasn't cooperating last night - wanted to run at 300) to an IT of 125F, then 2 min sear each side.

Looks amazing!  I cooked tri-tip on Wednesday...  And I'm cooking more this weekend for a small get together we're having.

Yummy! Did you cook the artichoke in the egg too?

Looks great. I'm doing one tonight. I have never cooked an artichoke on the egg but my brother does it all the time. Love them.

Nice.  Looks like you cut it with the grain.

The Artichoke was steamed, not on the Egg.  And yes, I do slice with the grain - I know that's wrong, but old habits can be hard to break.  Still tastes good :)
