I live right out side of New Orleans and we have pretty good fishing down here. I launched out of Hopedale and we were on the trout in know time. The only problem was all of them were 11" :( we wound up with 20 keepers and about 100 throw backs. I wish my daughter would have been with us cause she would have loved reeling in those fish. I'm going out tomorrow so wish me luck. Hopefully I can get a nice red to put on the egg.

Sounds like you had a good time. We are down in Orange Beach for the week and hope to do some fishing while here. They say that the Spanish mackerel are biting good right now. I would love to catch a bunch of those. Good luck, I hope you load the boat.

Nice. I will definitely take some pics tomorrow. @shtgunal3 I would go for some red snapper if you in the gulf. I love grilled red snapper.

Good luck. Scored me a new un christened fishing hat last night from my fishing buddy. He lost it in a game of dice. Ready for the weather to cool so I can start loading the boat and grill up with the catch of the day.
