New egg size

After hauling my XL BGE camping last week I have been thinking of a new egg size that would be perfect for camping/tailgating while cooking for a large crowd. The cooking grid would be the same size as the large so that you cook several butts or burgers/chops for a large crowd but would be shorter like the mini max. Being the same grid size as the large accessories would interchange and shorter it should be easier to move around. I wanted to get your thoughts of it and hopefully the folks at BGE will see this and consider it. What do y'all think?

I just bought a ceramic grill works 2 tier adjustable grate for my MiniMax and it really helped with realestate. Not as much as a large but worth a look. The MM is very easy to transport. They could do a large version and call it the MightyMax! And btw Go Dawgs!Buford, GA LBGE, BGE MiniMax

One word...Weber

I want one like this cup but with a top and bottom...collapse for transport, double walled, air filled would be fine. Green with dimples or silver with Yeti or Rtic stamped on the side.

Which came first the chicken or the egg? I egged the chicken and then I ate his leg.

They used to build one similar to what you speak of. There is one in the museum @ the Mothership. I can't remember what it was called, "Egg to go" or something like that. Maybe someone on here has a pic or something.

This is the one in PA. I understand there used to be a guy making the same thing under a same/similar name. Franco @ CGW was awesome to deal with. Went above and beyond to get my order shipped quickly.Buford, GA LBGE, BGE MiniMax

Good to know. Thanks!Steve

I realize my view may not be popular, but I cannot understand the desire to turn the most fragile of grills into a travel grill. There are non breakable options that can do virtually the same thing.
Every time I see a "travel with my egg thread", I can't help but think folks mixed the kool aid a little too strong. (and I like the kool aid)
