45 min minutes ago 9 slabs went on the XL at
225 for the first 3 hrs at that point I'll make a decision wether to wrap in tin foil for a while then finish them or ramp up temp don't wrap them apply some special sauce and let them finish themselves bareback. What do you think? and I'm having 30 people here at 5 would like to eat around 6:30.

You must be in the Pacific time zone but regardless that is an impressive pic. Can't comment on your time-line as it is 1730 EDT right now. But if you have to power thru then dial up the temp (good for 300-350*F-give turbo ribs a look) or foil as you suggested and then dial it up... FWIW-
I am foiling (not for my consumption) just a solo rack of BB's after 4 hours at 270*F and then running up to around 350*F just to declare victory. Enjoy the cook and party. FWIW-Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood. Life is too short for light/lite beer! Seems I'm livin in a transitional period. CHEETO (aka Agent Orange) makes Nixon look like a saint. -
