The gasser!!!!!

decided to use the ole gasser tonight. Some CAB fillets and asparagus along side some rice pilaf. Seasoned with dizzy pig "Raising The Steaks". Drizzled a little 18yo balsamic on the green stuff. Tested some steak sauces for fun. Don't look, it hurts!

Is the BGE in the shop for repairs or the gasser was getting lonely....either way the steak is perfect.....along with the rest of the meal.

looks killer and I would hammer it. Flip side, think how much better it was than last time you used that gasser with what you learned here.

I've never had a gasser but have had good food cooked on them. Perfect steak cook thanks for sharing!!

What sauces were you experimenting with?  And what did you think of them?

Thanks all! The ole gasser did just fine last night.

@Focker I had Lea & Perrins, Rufus Teague, and Guiness. I  think everyone liked the Lea & Perrins best. The Rufus Teague had some interesting profiles though. We aren't really much of a steak sauce family though.

    I hear ya Pete.
    We're not either.
Didn't know if you got your hands on a new product?

I am back to using ketchup at times(not on steak lol), 78 Red out of Poland.  It's thicker, great tangy flavor.  Good on scrambled eggs when chorizo isn't in the mix.  Like Ma used to make.
