Simple Sirloin

Nothing special here but decided to share my dinner tonight anyway. Seared off a few thick cutlets of sirloin steak at about 550 for a couple of minutes a side then let the temperature drift down. A little overdone for my liking but I'll correct for next time.
Given the thickness of steak I would have preferred to do a reverse sear, but work held me over for too long and we were hungry!
The rest of the dinner consider of sautéed onions and sweet corn (cut off the cob). Not a bad pairing with a tomato / mozzarella salad and a steak for a summer meal!
