From one of my favorite books, "THE FOOD LAB, BY J. KENJI LOPEZ-ALT, Better Home Cooking Through Science."
Just love this book and all the knowledge it has in the 900+ pages.

Looks good. You ever considered putting in the plate setter legs down and cooking the Naan straight on the ceramic? I think that might be a little bit closer to real Naan.Aledo, Texas

Looks great and thanks for sharing. I have never made home made naan before. We usually by the premade stuff from the bakery and make pizzas with it.Large and Small BGECentral, IL

Naan breads are typically made on side of tandoori ovens (clay ovens). So as @Toxarch suggested to get a close approximation to that cook, you shoud try cooking it on the ceramic platesetter or a pizza stone.
Check out the pictures that @Little_Steven has posted when he makes Naan Bread on the BGE (http://eggheadforum.com/discussion/1067574/naan-on-the-egg)LBGE & MiniOrlando, FL -

@Toxarch @fljoemon I cooked a few directly on the grill and a few on the platesetter last weekend. The ones that I cooked on the grill were closer to the real thing. Probably because when cooked in a tandoor, one side "sees" the fire and gets some char.____________________Entrepreneurs are simply those who understand that there is little difference between obstacle and opportunity and are able to turn both to their advantage. •Niccolo Machiavelli
