Boneless short ribs, sous vide. How long?

First time using my Anova today and went to the Serious Eats/Anova recipe pages and searched " boneless short ribs" for a cook time yesterday. 
First recipe was simple. Season,sear, sous vide. I reversed it, season, sous vide, sear. It said for 4 hours, so that is what I planned for. 
Got the Anova up to temp and dropped in the 3 little packages opf goodness. 

I sat down to relax and do some more reading on the finer points of this new contraption. I kept reading, short ribs, 24 hours. 36 hours. 48 hours. WTF?

Is my 4 hour cook destined to fail and be tough and under cooked?
