Thanks to the forum bros. Long time lurker. First time pic poster.
Made with 1\4 lb loosely balled 80/20 ground chuck.
Ball placed on a cast iron griddle for 1 min and seasoned with a salt and pepper blend and then SMASHED for 15 seconds with a cast iron grill press (a piece of wax paper between the meat and the press).
Grilled for 2 min and flipped.
Toasted the bun and sauteed the onions on the griddle since I had the space.
Added Swiss and American cheese and cooked for another 2 minutes.
Garnished with pickles, sauteed onion, ketchup, and mustard.
Tasty.

What temp did you get the griddle/dome up to? I'm assuming you did these on your Egg? I've made regular burgers and did it at 650 degrees, 3 minutes per side and they came out awesome. I want to try the smash burgers tonight.

These were done at 500 degrees grate level. I did these on my Akorn. The griddle is too big for my medium.

That looks great! I did my first smash burger over the weekend using ground tenderloin trim, but I did it on cast iron inside. Amazing and simple way to do burgers. Next time I'll try the Egg. Did you grill the buns on the Akorn too?

Buns were grilled on the griddle after the flip. Onions went on with the meat.
