First Brisket

I smoked my first Brisket today. I'm pretty happy with how it turned out but I might have gone a bit heavy with the rub. I think this might be one of the best things I've cooked on the egg so far.

Great result. Congrats on the popping the brisket cherry.Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood. # 38 for the win. Life is too short for light/lite beer! Seems I'm livin in a transitional period.

I try to get as much rub as possible on briskets...just my way of doing it, I guess.
The charred rub (bark) tastes good to me !!!
