It's official... I've lost my damn mind due to Egg-fever!

Back on Mother's Day I struggled while trying to fit three St. Louis style slabs flat on the grid of my XL.  This initially got me thinking about additional grid space, multi-level grids, etc.  Then this morning I struggled (again) while trying to fit two beef short rib slabs flat on the grid of my XL.  Well, that was enough for me...  I marched inside the house and immediately reached out to Ceramic Grill Store!

I'm happy to report, I just placed an order for an XL Adjustable Rig / Woo combo.  I opted for the dual 16" x 20" oval grids configuration, so I have the option of swapping grid positions, etc.  Then, since my order qualified for free shipping I figured "What the hell, this is as good of an opportunity as any to get a Kick Ash Basket too, right!?!"   ;)

This order is just the latest in a barrage of Egg-ccessory orders I've been placing lately...  I have a full-blown addiction!   =)

I do like the math of free shipping equates to KAB. That makes perfect sense to me

    It happened AGAIN...  :o

At least these Eggcessories are partially justified (i.e. early Father's Day gifts from the wife and kids).  For what it's worth, I already have some USDA PRIME ribeye steaks in the refrigerator for dinner tomorrow.

Once you get all the accessories you want /need........you will have more money for the SRF meats. Awfully nice of them to drop them off on your front porch too. Its like opening presents on Christmas morning.

@NERVOUS wifi model.  Smart.  That's what I got, and I love it.

And CGS has the KAB?  Nice (except I just bought $100 worth of homebrew equipment.  SWMBO may put a hit out on brown Santa).

Great to hear...  I'm looking forward to using the Anova Wi-Fi tomorrow!  And yes, I ordered my KAB from CGS this past weekend.

The wait is finally over...  Earlier today I received an XL Adjustable Rig / Woo combo along with an XL Kick Ash Basket.

Installing all of these new Eggcessories gave me a good excuse to do a thorough cleaning...  So, I broke out the shop vac and went to work.

Here's a picture of the XL Kick Ash Basket just prior to being put inside the BGE and another picture of it inside the BGE.

Here's a picture of the XL Woo sitting on top of the fire ring (inside the ConvEGGtor indentations).

Here's a picture of XL Adjustable Rig sitting on top of the OEM grid; which is sitting on top of the XL Woo; which is holding a 17.5" ceramic stone.

And lastly, here's a picture of the XL Adjustable Rig with two 16" x 20" oval grids installed.

Can't wait to use of all that space...  Racks of ribs for days!

Those. Cgs items are too clean!    Fire that sucker up!  On a side note i have two adj rig slide guide crossbar oval gris for xl so i can do four levwls of ribs.  I did have to hacksaw at an angle the slide guide tabs that stuck out too far so it wouldnt hit the dome upon closing.  I think i cut an inch or so.   Four levels for ribs

Not to worry...  I cooked on the new setup less than 12 hours after it arrived!

4 levels of ribs!?!  I love the way you think!  For some reason, I have an extra set of cross bars...  That I have no idea what to do with?  Maybe I'll order another slide guide and try a 4 level setup!

You aren't even started. With all those new toys I mean necessary cooking aids, you now need an outdoor kitchen with a good roof suitable seating, running water a refrigerator and a mini bar. Without water proof storage for all the new good stuff and for eight different kinds of lump and numerous wood chips, you will unable to feed your family.
    There is no cure.
