I'll stick with Rockwood....my eggs love it, too !!

When I first started I tried some less expensive brands and had fires go out during the night and had to wait after lighting for VOC's to exhaust, etc, etc. My time and sleep are worth the extra costs for RW. I have never in 2-1/2 years had any issue with RW.

I think it's good to try different lumps.  It's not always a happy ending when you're stuck on one brand.  Look at @henapple.  He was a notorious pimp for Ozark Oak.  Now that they have gone belly up, he's a broken man who doesn't hang out here much anymore.  Just sayin.

So you done your testing. Have you tested the competitors? If not, then your just eyeballing like everyone else.

Of course......not as regularly or as many samples, but yes I have.  Unlike a lot of others in this business, I want to ensure we're a lot more than pretty bag.
