You know I have tried to find Texas Toast in the local stores and have not been successful. I like to use it for French Toast.

Thanks for the inspiration. Fresh bread. Look forward to making a good sandwich like @gonepostal. Need to use pork butt as finished up all the remaining brisket in chili.

Thanks. Don't tempt me. I would prob have to go all @RRP and get me a new egg just for baking. That would not go over well with the wife....something to consider though.jtcBoynton said:

Actually here's the rest of the story. Wife and I bought our first - a Large together in April, 2000. Then 3 months later for my birthday she surprised me with a Small! I was pleased with the L & S combo. Then a year later for that next birthday she REALLY surprised me with the Medium! Honestly I didn't really want it, but who am I to be upset with a wife who gives BGEs as birthday presents? I let it sit "admiring it" as I told her and then in the Fall I had to do something and honestly I don't know why, but I decided to declare it forever virginal with no meat nor smokey wood inside her! That will be 16 years ago this Fall. BTW in July 2005 she surprised me one last time - egg wise - with a Mini. I know some guys get surprised with babies, but my wife chose BGEs!northGAcock said:
