Heading to Seattle

the wife just told me we are heading to Seattle for July 4th weekend.  If any of the locals have suggestions of places to eat things to do please let me know.  We go to Seattle once or twice year as the FIL lives on chambers bay and in downtown Seattle but we are always looking for new places or things to do. We are not looking for any tourist things as we have done all that before.
