Rib temp too high

I noticed after the first hour of my rib smoke my temps which was stabilized at 240 rose to about 305 I closed the bottom vents a little anything else I can do ?

I often cook ribs at 300 Dome, puts my grate temp around 265-270. You'll be good.Large BGE - McDonald, PA

All that's happened is that the ribs will likely be done faster. Once the temp come down, if you want to slow the cook down for timing, mist or brush lightly w. water.

I do 2/1.5/1 or 2/1.5/.5 depending how they are cooking for BB. I like fall off the bone ribs though, others do not and would not foil.
2 Hours in Smoke
1.5 Hours in Foil (generally this is when I'll decide another hour or not)
1 or .5 sauced and no Foil.
265F at the Grate is generally 290-300F for me on the Dome. Each egg is a little different. I use a Flameboss 100 for temp control and probe temps.Large BGE - McDonald, PA -

A solid B+ the ends were a little over but the big ribs were great ! I did
2 in smoke w/pecan
2 in foil with ACV and woodchuck Granny Smith
they were pretty don't after that so I did 30 min with sauce and enjoyed -
