Food Slicer Blades?
Thecoiman
Posts: 134
My wife got me a food slicer (I think a Chef Magic). She got a smooth edge blade and serrated blade. I know each blade has purpose but sure for what. I will do some google research but wanted to ask the question to those that would have practical knowledge of the differences.
Thanks

the serrated blade is for taking up space in the drawer, the smooth one is for meat

It is also useful for cutting your fingers when digging for other items in the drawer because you forgot to put it in a protective case.
Some may say it is for bread and cheese, but smooth works just fine for most of those items.

Thanks, I have not changed from the fine blade and I have cut meat & chesses just fine. I have not taken the serrated blade out of the package.
