in Pork
Picked this up this morning and want it for dinner tonight.
It's 11am now - Any recommendations for cook time and temp if I want it for dinner say around 5:30-6ish.
And I'm guessing that 200 is the internal temp sweet spot?
Thanks

Won't be done in time. No way at 275. If you want it tonight 350-375 dome temp. Indirect. Still might not be done with the stall but should be close.1 XXL BGE, 1 LG BGE, 2 MED. BGE, 1 MINI BGE, 1 Peoria custom cooker Meat Monster.Clinton, Iowa

Good Luck, I feel it might be a bit tight for your time line. But there will be some good tasting food when it's done.Large, small, and a mini

Gotta go Turbo to eat it tonight. Go for the 300 range cited above. The fact that it is only lbs will work in your favor.Richmond and Mathews County, VA. Large BGE, Weber gas, little Weber charcoal. Vintage ManGrates. Little reddish portable kamado that shall remain nameless here. Very Extremely Stable Genius.

I'm sure you're well into it by now but as said above with only 4 lbs you should make it for sure. I've taken large ones and cut in half (gives you a couple more bark surfaces too.) and done them in that time frame. I did a 6 lb. brisket yesterday in less than 6 hrs and I should have pulled it sooner.

Good luck, hard to screw up a butt. I don't normally turbo, but I've got one on the medium right now cruising at 305.
I noticed you paid 2.99 / lb. You're making me feel better. I picked up a double pack at RD yesterday and was grumbling because the price climbed to 1.59 / lb.
