Congrats on the new home.  Good view to boot.  I could spend many a days smoking on that patio, drinking a few beers and watching the golfers come by.

Fantastic!  Looks like my back yard.  We are behind the second T.  About 20 golf balls over the past 2.5 years.  I used to play golf, but now I have kids that need to be driven everywhere...  :)  Congratulations!

I like to play golf but I'm much better at heckling. Enjoy the new digs.

I keep an aluminum baseball bat in my golf bag.  Sometimes that help with the frustration of the shanks and slices!!!!

I will second the comment on checking the yard before mowing.....  Those hurt coming out of the mower!  I know!

Congrats on your new home. Nice meal too.  Our first place in MD was off the 9th.  Collected a fair share of golf balls.  The best was having that green view to enjoy that you didnt have to mow.

Congrats on the new house! I'm sure it will be worth all the work, always has for me and the many houses we have made better in the past.

You do have me a little bummed because I thought we only had that fine china and now we need to look for another one of a kind china. Oh and dinner looks awesome too.

Wow...this thread really took off. Thanks for all the kind words. I'm not worried much about golf balls. We're right next to the tee box, so they would have to hook it 90 degrees, which somebody has already in the five or six days we've been in.

Haven't been on the forum since Wednesday. Duke got sick, just a little fever, but enough that daycare sent him home, so we've been hanging out. In a rare moment, he actually sat still for longer than 5 seconds, so I know he wasn't feeling good. Gee...that kid needs a haircut.

Wednesday night was some simple chicken legs. Mostly healthy.

Thursday was trout with Swamp Venom and one with Jamaican Firewalk and Mrs. G made some sprouts to go with 'em.

Tonight we're having shrimp. Gonna grill it our fry it depending on the weather. I usually fry with a cast iron over a turkey fryer out in the yard, but if its raining we'll Egg them. Pizza and ribs will be the weekend cooks, I think.

We're really enjoying new house, the new patio and view. Gonna be a lot more cooking than we did at the crappy rent house we were in before.

You know that privacy fence really ought to keep most of the balls out of the yard.
