Charcoal Tree?

Sorry if this is not the place to post this. Some years ago I got a metallic tree like accessory to go where the grate goes in the bottom of the fire box and this thing has been awesome for loading charcoal for giving some air to the middle of the charcoal. Problem is that I can't find the name of the thing or even where I got it but I remember one of the guys here recommended it to me. Hoping someone can help.
Thanks!!
Lynn
Thanks!!

Was it made out of expanded stainless steel? Sounds like an early prototype of something I was developing but never got around to.

It was. The base fit where the grate was and then the arms extended up.

This is what I am trying to replace. Hope the pic helps.

Nope, not ours......I thing that was called the "Turbo Grate"?

LBGE (still waitin' for my free T-Shirt), DIgiQ DX2 (In Blue, cause it's the fastest), Heavy Duty Kick Ash Basket, Mc Farland, WI.
If it wasn't for my BGE I'd have no use for my backyard... -
Wouldn't the kick ash basket serve the same purpose?

Awesome!! Thanks!!

Personally, I'm a big fan of the KAB.John in the Willamette Valley of Oregon

I had a Kick Ash Basket in my hands today at the dealership. I put it back. I picked it back up. I put it down again.
I don't know... $57 for a LBGE, and it's just welded wire. I gotta be able to make that myself.
I am such a cheap bastard, went to get some washers, which were 7¢ each.
I came home and drilled holes in a dozen nickels instead.

BBQ is a celebration of culture in America. It is the closest thing we have to the wines and cheeses of Europe.
Drive a few hundred miles in any direction, and the experience changes dramatically.
