There are a few ways that work. Instead of using a drill, I took a flat razor blade and scraped off the big pieces, then went back and scrubbed it with the pumice stone below:

I fully agree - but since this may be a single time use tool, I have found there are far cheaper "lesser name" brands on the market. I've even found some at Harbor Freight really dirt cheap and have shipped them to England!Jeremiah said:YesRe-gasketing the USA one yard at a time
