3-2-1 method St. Louis style ribs

when I wrap the ribs for the 2 hr cook the choice of liquid I have to use is Beer(IPA or Porter style) or apple juice. Any suggestions?

    apple juice would get my vote.  however, i have never wrapped mine.  i just bought a .99 spray bottle at walmart and spray them every 15-20 mins the last 2 hours and the come out perfect every time

    Doesn't matter what you use because it won't flavor the meat much (but the braise will certainly help break down tje meat). But if you use the liquid after in your sauce (if you sauce), then it WILL make a difference. 

    In that case, apple juice or beer is always good. Some use Coke/Pespi, or Dr.Pepper. Whatever you like

    Put a 1/4 cup of flax seed oil in it and see if that flavors it.

    Just saying....You most definitely can change the flavor of the meat with the liquid you add. Some things are subtle, some won't be. Be careful!
